To assist students understand the characteristics and actions of selected microorganisms related to human health and disease
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
- Describe the characteristics of various microorganisms.
- Outline the factors that promote growth and development microorganisms.
- Explain the host microbial interactions in the human body.
- Describe laboratory procedures for identifying and examining microorganisms.
- Interpret selected laboratory findings.
- Apply the principles of microbiology in infection prevention.
